Special Requirements
Avoid collection of specimens from patients with the following conditions:
1. Menstrual Bleeding
2. Bleeding Hemorrhoids
3. Constipation bleeding
4. Urinary Bleeding
*No dietary restrictions are needed.
*Following drugs may give false positive results. Better to discontinue for 7 days with the physician's advice.
1. Asprin
2. Indomethacin
3. Phenylbutazone
4. NSAIDs
5. Reserpine
6. Corticosteroids
* Alcohol- abstain for 7 days
