PATIENT PREPARATION FOR PROLACTIN TEST

1. No need to fast for this test (unless advised by your clinician).

2. Ideally do the test in the morning. (To have 4-hour gap from the time of wake up

3. You can take your usual medications on the day of the test (unless advised by your clinician not to do so). If you are taking any anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, sleeping tablets,oral contraceptive pill, or oral HRT, please inform laboratory team as this information need for report release.

4. Be seated and relaxed at least for 1/2 hour before the phlebotomy.
